I was recently here for a Birthday party. I love the fact we were able to park in the underground garage. It was a bit of a walk to the front door of the club, but I knew my car was safe. You can tell from the moment you walk in, the building has been here for a long time. It’s in good condition considering the age. Once the nostalgia wore off, it was disappointing. Some of the employees were amazing. A few were ill prepared and had bad attitudes. The food was adequate at best. There were roasted potatoes which had no flavor, roast beef which also had no flavor, and Chicken Francese which was OK.

Terrific location in the heart of the plaza for downtown City of Hartford. Very historic and beautiful facility. Tons of nearby parking available.

Very classic feel. The place was very clean, and the bar tender was always on point. Got the steak special, and it did not disappont. If you want an old 200-plus years building, feel it has it. But in a good way.

Classic atmosphere, wonderful staff. Perfect for intimate formal/semi formal gatherings 50-75 people. Would recommend for parties, awards ceremonies, etc.

Love the waitstaff, especially Ms. Rose! I forgot to add the best homemade potato chips, potato salad, and chicken cesar wraps ever. Even the iced water was delicious!

The parking is challenging as there are many levels that lead to various buildings so pay attention to the floor you park on and the signs for where you need to go. It is not straight forward. Once inside you will notice that the building is older and the structure has been maintained but not necessarily updated to the most modern features. That may be in compliance with a historical ordinances??? The food for the event was outstanding! The staff was on point being friendly and hard working.
